HISTORY OF GT ACADEMY
GT Preschool opened in 2005 serving West Orange County Families. During 2014-2015 GT Academy & College were birthed, fulfilling the education vision of GT Church to provide education from the cradle to college.
OUR MISSION
Glad Tidings Academy (GTA) is an outgrowth of the vision of Glad Tidings Church; connecting people to God, to one another, to the marketplace, and to the world. It shall serve the purpose of providing a loving and caring atmosphere where mothers, fathers, and guardians can feel assured while leaving their children in our care. Glad Tidings, in partnership with the home and church, is dedicated to teaching students in an interactive, hands-on fashion that is Christ-centered; as we seek to prepare students scholastically, socially, and spiritually.

As we experience God’s unique love for us, we learn to love one another and to:
1. Live Biblical Truth
Holding to and living out the unchanging Word of God in an ever-changing world (Matthew 24:35)
2. Uphold the Fruits of the Spirit
Encouraging Spiritual and personal growth through crucifying our flesh and staying in step with the Spirit of God (Galatians 5:22-25)
3. Seek Unity
Pursuing oneness of spirit through humility and selflessness, as Christ modeled for us (Philippians 2:2-11)
4. Pursue Excellence
Whole-heartedly seeking excellence in everything (Colossians 3:23)
Studying the Word of God is recognized at Glad Tidings Academy as of fundamental importance and is a required subject for all grades. Knowledge of the Bible is one of the greatest educational assets a person can have, in addition to moral and spiritual values resulting from the study. All grades are required to attend and participate in Chapel, which will be held once a week.

Glad Tidings hires and trains employees in accordance with Florida Department of Families Childcare Licensing standards in addition to Florida League of Christian Schools Requirements.
